Day 2: Favorite Movie

Yes, I am starting with day 2. I will go back to day 1. This one is very easy for me. I LOVE this movie! It's not only funny but it's almost inspiring how he tries so many different things. I would never go as far as to say yes to everything but I have tried to be open to trying new things in my life ever since I saw this movie. Plus, I think Jim Carrey is the guy version of me and my insane personality. lol

Look Ma, I posted something!

lol. I only have about 7 minutes before I need to get ready for work but I figured I would post a little something even if it isn't part of the 30 day challenge (which seriously I will start soon, promise) Monday, Tyler and I went out for our very late Valentine's Day. Poor guy sat through 3 and a half HOURS of getting my hair done. (I will post pics as soon as I get a good one haha) Then we went to sizzler for lunch. Then shopping. Tyler is a trooper. :) We went and played with the dogs for a bit and decided chillis would be great for dinner. After dinner we went back to Ty's house and relaxed with a movie and some video game playing. It was so nice to spend the day with him.

Wednesday, I was the third wheel for a blind date I set up for Tyler (brother lol) It was so much fun! we met at Chillis (I love that place) at about 5:30 and didn't leave until almost 9! It went really well. hopefully we will see a post on Tyler's blog about a second date soon! :)

I started the HCG drops on Tuesday. I enjoyed my two loading days. it was so nice to pig out. lol. Then on Thursday I started the 500 calories a day. I don't feel hungry at all but food looks SO GOOD!!!! But, in those first two 500 calorie days I lost 5 LBS! so excited. so wish me luck, I am hoping to lose another five by next Wednesday at least.

Well, I love you guys! And I will start the 30 day challenge before nest week ends (promise)

Trying new things

For as long as I have known Tyler, he has had a very awful color of blue painted on the walls of his room. It was enough to give anyone in their right mind a headache. So, we randomly decided to paint. I have never really painted a room without the council and direction of my mother so I was a little nervous I was going to paint everything poorly. But, as we moved most of his furniture out, the natural excitement overwhelmed my nerves. Turns out I am a much better painter than Tyler. lol. It did take us much longer than we had anticipated and I learned that I can become very bossy and controlling in such situations, but we achieved wonderful results! not only did we end up painting the room, but now Tyler has a new entertainment center and decor! Not to mention a MUCH needed new bed comforter, as his old (but "awesome" as he put it) comforter was falling apart and had been for the past 5 years. I had so much fun and feel so accomplished every time I go into his room!

A couple weeks later, Tyler's dad, Pat, invited us to go up to the hills and shoot some of his guns. I was really excited. I had shot guns before and thought i was going to impress Tyler with my skills. :) Well, I had not expected size and power of the guns that Pat had brought. We started out with the single shot Pat has had since he was 12 years old, and that was simple. I hit the target (not anywhere good but I hit it!) Then, Pat pulled out a handgun. I didn't hit anything with that one. lol. But I did receive a nice ringing in my ears. I thought I would be tough and let the boys wear the only ear plugs. Once Pat pulled out the shotgun and I shot off a couple shells, I decided to take turns wearing plugs when shooting. Shooting that shotgun was such a rush. But we still had two more guns to shoot. The next one looked a lot like an M16 but shot bigger bullets. The kick back on that one took me by surprise. lol. Then, Pat went to the back of his pick up and pulled out a very large gun case. When he opened it I found there was a very intimidating rifle inside. He also pulled out a little square piece of steel that we were to shoot at from way too far away. I decided to be a girl and shoot it from a little closer than the boys but I am very proud to say that I hit that piece of steel from about 50 feet away. :) Tyler and Pat hit it from way up on a hill. I was very impressed. Tyler's brother, Jacob, shot from where I shot and finally hit it as well. I can not wait to go out and try again. And I will be sure to actually wear shoes other than my flip flops. lol.

Life Goes On

So much has happened since my last post! Funny how life keeps going even tho your blog doesn't. lol. First of all, I lost my job with Jensen Jewelers. It was a new challenge I haven't yet had to deal with in my life. It took a little bit to find a new job and by the time I did, I had fallen into a stressful mess. I started back at chili's as a host at close to no hours and little pay. But it was a job and I was grateful. Then, after a month-long hiring proses, I started at the hospital in the nutrition services department. I did both jobs for a while and recently moved to just working full time at the hospital. It has been very interesting learning everything. I meet a lot of different people. What a blessing this job has been! it will truly be a huge learning experience in my life.

Just in time for the fourth of July, I decided to drive my car down to Blackfoot for the Miles family party. Well, I made it to Shelley when my car died. Turns out I blew the engine. Luckily, there was a family nice enough to stop and help me while i waited for my Dad to come up and get my car home. Conveniently, the gentleman was a mechanic. He opened my hood and tried to tell me some good news. As he looked I could see his expression slowly get more and more grim. after we let the motor cool down a bit he put some water in my engine to see if we could get it running long enough to drive it the block to my parents house. As he dumped water into the engine, oil spewed out the middle of the motor like old faithful. I was pretty sure that was NOT suppose to happen, so my spirits were beat down a little more. I am so lucky my parents are the best EVER; they let me drive their car until i got back on my feet.

I celebrated my 23rd birthday in the middle of my near mental breakdown. Tyler took me to his grandma's cabin at bear lake. It was so relaxing! (minus the smell of his car from the skunk we hit on our way down. lol.) The cabin was HUGE! We stayed in the biggest room with the biggest most comfortable bed I have ever known. The view of the stunning blue lake was breathtaking.

Tyler made sure to spoil me rotten. =) He cooked a fantastic dinner and watched all the chick flicks I wanted.

On the way home, we stopped at Soda Springs. It was fun, especially due to the fact we had arrived at the same time a tour bus full of older couples.

Before we hit the road again we followed ALL those older folks to the bathroom. There were two stalls in the women's bathroom. So while standing in line forever I got to talk to the women around me. One woman made it a point to tell me how good looking my "husband" was. haha. He reminded her of her husband when he was young. lol.

Now, I have been working my butt off at the hospital and slowly but surely making it through. I would not be able to make it if i didn't have such a wonderful family and amazing boyfriend. I am learning so much about myself and couldn't be happier. ( I could be richer, but I suppose that will just have to wait. lol)

Catch Up.

I'm terrible at keeping this updated. So, here is a small review of everything i should have been blogging about:

NOV 2009-
Tyler and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary! I can hardly believe that it has been that long. He really is the most amazing boyfriend. I am so lucky to have him in my life. We are doing absolutely fantastic! I couldn't be more in love.

JAN 2010-
Shanny got married!!!! Crazy I know. I am still getting use to it. So she moved away to AZ and now I have to look on Facebook to find anything out about her life. lol. She was a beautiful bride of course. I was the maid of honor. I had the hardest time not bawling my eyes out as Dad walked her down the isle. But things got better when the food was served and the music started playing. =)

The weekend after the wedding, my family, Tyler, and I went to AZ for the reception. I haven't been back down in years. It not only was AMAZING to see Mary, my best friend in the whole world, it was the perfect chance for Tyler to really bond with my family. Which, I am happy to say, went really well. We also got to see Mike, Jess, and little miss Hannah. Oh how I love them! Hannah has gotten so big and I have miss a lot of her life. So, it was very nice to spend some time with her. Plus, I finally got to see Mike and Jess's new home. SO CUTE! Good job Jessie. One of the evenings we spent over at their house, Hannah decided that her and Grandpa Steve (Jess's dad) we going to play with her highly advanced Nerf guns. I don't remember having all the cool toys these kids have these days. lol. It was an epic battle. Not quite sure who one but I bet if you ask, Hannah will say it was her.

The 14 hour drive home was surprisingly wonderful. Tyler and I took the Escape back for my folks and having that entire time to just talk and enjoy each other with no distractions was so nice. It is so awesome to have someone i can talk to non-stop and still not run out of things to talk about. Tyler is not use to my family's schedule, so he was extreamly tired. He is use to sleeping in. Haha. My Dad doesn't know how to sleep in. So as you can imagine, we were kinda goofy in the car the whole way home. It was one funnest times in my life.

TODAY-
I am still working at Jensen Jewelers and I am still loving it. Although... my taste in jewelry has gotten a little bit expensive. lol. I am also still living in Idaho Falls in a duplex with my friends. But, as much as I love my friends... I can not wait until it is just me and Tyler in our own place. Hopefully it happens sooner than later. All I know is, it's a good thing he is the responsible one. otherwise (if he listened to my advice on life) we would be living together in a beautiful cardboard box on the side of the road over looking the dump. =) That's all for now. I promise Mom I will do better at keeping this updated. Love ya guys!!!

For Puka Nut

I remember that little girl with the biggest brown eyes and sweetest smile. Then the goofy girl with a big hole in her mouth where a tooth used to be. You use to live in your swim suit. It use to take us hours to clean our bedroom, mostly because we would quickly get distracted by talking. Back in the day when our biggest worry was making it look like we had been cleaning when Mom came in to check on us. Now I look into those same big brown eyes and see a woman. And I wonder where those days went. It seems like yesterday we were laying in the dark, me looking at the ceiling and you at the bottom of my bed, talking about life's "problems." Mostly mine. And even then you would tell me it would be ok. I never saw that it was you that helped me through most of life. I wish I had realized back then how special you are. It still amazes me how much you have grown in just those few short years. I have never met a more kind and selfless person in my whole life. A good majority of our lives you would just listen. Even when I was in the wrong, which was most of the time, you still opened your heart to me. I could never even try to express how blessed I am to have you as a sister. After everything I have put you through you are still right there with open arms and a big smile. I am so proud of the woman you have become, and the woman you have yet to become. You are going to make a wonderful wife and and even better mother. (Even if it might take a little bit of getting use to on my part). I love you Shanny and I always will.

LOVE,

Breezy

Paint

I was going through pictures on my computer looking for something, anything to make my life look interesting and i came across these pictures of my last paintballing trip with Tyler and our friend Miguel. I have only played a few times but I decided that I love it. This time, however, was the first time I had ever played with only three people. And the boys thought it would be a good idea to play free-for-all. I thought I was going to get creamed. I was correct to think so, but I do have to say I put up a very good fight. Haha. My most painful hit was the one right behind my ear. You cant see it very well in the photos but I was bleeding. It turned my hair a pretty shade of blue though. Lol. It was a blast.
